Technical Services

Field Service Rates

RKI Instruments oers the following rates for servicing our equipment at the

customer’s site. Field service rates apply to start- up, calibration, troubleshooting,

and training. RKI Instruments oers service agreements which provide

substantial savings for routine maintenance, calibration and parts.

Regular Hourly Rate (90-F-HOUR)

$125.00 per person per hour, two hour minimum. These rates apply Monday through Friday (except holidays), 8:00 am to 5:00 pm,

scheduled 24 hours in advance. Overtime rate is $150.00 per hour. (Contract labor rate available at $100 per hour)

Daily Rate (90-F-DAY)

$850.00 per person per day for up to eight hours. These rates apply Monday through Friday (except holidays) 8:00 am to 5:00 pm,

scheduled 24 hours in advance. Overtime rate is $150.00 per hour.

Weekend, Evening, & Emergency

$1,200.00 per person per day for eight hours (or $150.00 per hour; two hour minimum billing). Overtime rate is $150.00 per hour.

These rates apply to service that must be started with less than 24 hour advance scheduling and for work performed on holidays.

Other Charges

Parts and materials used in eld service are charged according to current RKI list price. Travel time within 150 miles of RKI Instruments is

billed at $85.00 per hour. Travel greater than 150 miles from RKI is billed at the daily rate. Other travel expenses, including airfare and

hotel will be billed at actual.

Any eld service work should be scheduled with as much advance notice as possible.

All items returned for repair must be accompanied by a complete Service Order Form. To expedite the repair process, online service
